Back in April Plan Ceibal's head Miguel Brechner gave a presentation called "Revolutionizing social integration in Uruguay with One Laptop per Child" at TEDxBuenosAires. Not surprisingly the 16 minute talk is a great overview of Plan Ceibal and I feel it also serves as a good baseline for some of my upcoming articles about OLPC in Uruguay. (Note: While the talk itself is in Spanish the video comes with English subtitles.)

Please also note the part where Brechner talks about the 50,000 XOs that erroneously ended up being blocked. One of the reasons why this massive issue could be addressed in a relatively short amount of time was the participation of many RAP Ceibal volunteers all around the country.
