Utter Disappointment.

All I can say about my OLPC experience is that I am utterly disappoint and have lost nearly all faith in this organization

Lets start at the beginning. I am a G1G1 first day donor. My laptop should have arrived as promised before the holidays.

Weeks after many started shipping I get a tracking number and find out my XO has been sitting in a warehouse because there is a problem with the delivery address.

I contact OLPC and provide a more through address. The original address was for my university post office. The more detailed address contained exact information to make the delivery. UPS and regular post can find its way to me from either. Fedex is inherently lazy and drives by the building a lot to deliver to other university addresses. Yet they can't find this one still.

I contact Fedex this time because dealing with OLPC is too slow and try to get the address changed to a friend that lives near by. I find out OLPC provided fedex with inaccurate address information in the first place but after confirming the original address they said they still couldn't deliver there, and they wouldn't let me change the delivery address because it was out of the postal code.

So I contact OLPC again to have my address changed AGAIN and have yet to hear back from them. Today I was curious if they did something and maybe just didn't tell me about it so I log onto fedex tracking only to find out my package was delivered, yay, oh wait, not yay, it was delivered to not only the wrong city but the wrong skdjalsdkjalsgdk state. I don't understand how this could possibly happen.

To make matters worse I read Canadian orders are shipping now. I recently moved to Canada, so after if ever my laptop is delivered to my friend in the states it will have to be shipped again by them to finally get to me,

Thanks OLPC for being months late and never delivering. I am truly utterly disappointed. My only hope at this point is that I might somehow get my money back, but I am doubtful of even that, 400$ down the tubes. I hope the laptop I donated actually makes its way into the hands of a needing child instead of being jettisoned out of the plane into the ocean.

My mistake, my laptop was merely delivered back to OLPC in libertyville. Still I am completely frustrated.
